During the Labor Day weekend I was able to head out of town with the infamous, Block Ent. crew. It was quite an adventure I must say. Those guys really know how to hit the streets in terms of promotion! It seems that in every city we went to, EVERYONE had love for Gorilla Zoe. If you ever get the opportunity to talk with the "legend in the making" you will see why he has die hard fans. The guy is hilarious, and is always pleasant. Enough of the emotional stuff, let's talk music. Zoe has a nice selection of songs of which his fans seem to know all the words to. I'm talking about songs that didn't get much airplay, like Bite Down, or Juice Box. Of course the favorites are Hood Figga and his latest, Lost feat. Lil Wayne. Lost is such a relevant song to todays times since we are apparently in a recession. Who hasn't had that feeling of being Lost. Zoe recently put out a mixtape that has such an immaculate collection of songs that will definitely tie fans over until his album, Don't Feed The Animals, drops in early '09.
